Not My Day to Live

Why are you letting them down is it cold on the ground please take us away from here I know it's not set in stone but it feels so alone this is not my day to live Come and take this pain away from me it's a nightmare apprehended by the claws of beasts their alive here open ended structures all around where will you go never ending self destruction now and they all know I think you've seen this all before when they will not listen I'm left just crawling on the floor is there something given a heart shaped hole left in your chest do you know what's missing Better to be blind than have seen these things go down the drain better to be deaf than hear these names all the same Come in and lay your head down where you won't hear that sound it's gone away for now I hear the words that you say it means something today but tomorrow it's less than dirt Why must everything you say to me be a lie now you must think i cannot plainly see what's inside you i can feel all of your suffering let me help you if you think this is all just a dream then go wake up I think you're ready for some more is it too much to take just draw a line and let me know before your mind just breaks you all just wished it wasn't so but now it's all too late Better to be blind than have seen these things go down the drain better to be deaf than hear these names all the same
