Message on the Wall

They were hoping i would not make it to this day I've been outlined in chalk in so many ways I've been dwelling around but it's keeping me down you can knock on my door but it might be ignored I've been holding my ground but it's hanging around i don't blend in the crowd guess it's all in my sound I'll throw their numbers away i can't talk anyway was there something to say i don't even know I might be on my own but i am not alone i hear the voices say I'm just in the way And then the memory talks but i cannot just walk it's all swirling around it knows better still Message on the wall and it's all still there when it's time to fall it's all in here bask in the glow of my short time don't waste your words on souls like mine Endless truths unknown as i corrode faceless foes will break out of the mold see my reflection there but is it still me i would let you all know but it's too late I was out of my skull but it's taking me home anywhere i would fall it lays down beside and there was so many lights it was burning so bright i can't see in the night it just don't exist and even if i was right i was caught up in blight it has taken my life won't return to me So now just send me on my way Message on the wall and it's all still there when it's time to fall it's all in here bask in the glow of my short time don't waste your words on souls like mine
