Infected with a need to desecrate The dead remains of their fellow man Taking trophies to mark the expeditions The two accomplices shared their gruesome obsession The kept an underground museum of their catches They kept headstones, skulls, and other grisly trophies Visions of torture and pain in statue and in painting Bound in a portfolio made of human skin They heard word of a grave of a man with their appetites In Holland cemetery, buried with a powerful artifact They traveled far and at great expense And finally to the tomb they came They dug for the coffin Against the baying of a distant hound They unearthed a strange ornate casket A jade amulet around the ghoul’s neck The men recognized the value, not the threat And the horror they unleashed was unspeakable The first man died at the hands of the unleashed horror The second man died with a revolver to his own head
