I bring before you the closing The end of the last act The sunset of humanity Before fading into black I report no understanding A species deserving death To leave what's left of planet Earth For whoever may come next No false gods constructed could save us in the end The words of the prophets burn away forever Humanity was given a test To see if we were worthy To rise above our pettiness And be the better beings Instead we chose selfishness And it has brought us death We shall have no sympathy as we draw our dying breath
