The weight of his existence takes its toll Waiting forever and forever never comes The thrill of the hunt has long since gone How long has he been here trapped in eternal night The years feel as centuries piling up behind The only souls he sees are those which he kills His immortal brethren are monstrous demons They whisper in secret of one who comes to lead Fallen With not a hope of redemption Waiting For the hope of final sleep Haunted The memories he can’t forget Echoes Screaming loud inside his head The falseness of humanity sickens beyond compare Outside of all its pageantry its soul laid bare They all want to live forever, as his victims will But they see the bitter irony when they are driven to kill
