It grows in us from a young age The need to understand ourselves And taught to demonize What we’re told it is to be insane Frozen Yet burning alive Filled with a desperate need Seeking answers we cannot know All the while through warped perception Screaming No peace for me My mind races through countless dilemmas I can hear the gods laughing Echoing in the darkness What do you know of madness?
