False Gods Prophecy

From our childhood, taught there’s two sides A constant battle between light and darkness But there are many forces at work Many perspectives that all crave power Great is the sadness and misery of those Confused at their own source of light Bastard deceivers enslaving the weak To conquer their flock and control You can’t see the wolf if you can’t see in the dark But there is more than one kind Craving your flesh and smelling your blood They wait to devour the blind So many so selfish and hording the wealth And so many starving in vain The rich man so paranoid of thieves in the night And the poorest cry out in pain So concerned are the pious of a mythical devil They cannot look upon themselves For while they obsess over going to heaven They are putting so many through hell All is lost All will rot All is a lie While false gods prophecy Don’t listen to the wisdom of a babbling fool There’s not a god for him to have heard from Abandoning reason is the beginning of madness And there’s just to many madmen here Suffer the loss and pray to the light To bring you change which you seek For praying for things instead of doing them Is how you convert strong to weak Hell bent on the power and wealth obtained The church remains in strength They need your devotion and money you give To keep you at chains length But never question their own contradictions Or they will call you lost It’s important to keep you wounded and blinded No matter what the cost People must know that their belief is unfounded A delusion acquired in youth How many churches do I need to burn Before you will listen to truth All is lost All will rot All is a lie While false gods prophecy
