The beautiful daughter of Gods set on high Fairest of the morning, enticing in splendor Beauty so enchanting, attracting the eye of hell And so a plan was made, devil and god conspired As she gazed upon the narcissus, the ground split beneath And Hades came riding out, to the sounds of hooves and terror Her mother searched for nine days to no avail Beloved daughter gone without a trace She met with Hekate on the tenth dismal day She learned that the sun god Helios was her only hope She begged with the lord of Hell to release her daughter Many years passed, and still no reply The beautiful girl learned the ways of evil Her beautiful light warped into darkness When she returned to the Gods, she was hardly recognized Once such a gentle soul, hardened from years below In her eyes such cruelty, the fires of the furnace Her beautiful form, shoulders back, the queen of the damned And her force of will, powerful beyond measure She could not tolerate the surface world forever She returns to the underworld every winter To torment and rule again
