Vehemently Treading

As I was walking On this abandoned path I cannot die by a homicide (Vehemently treading) I heard them talking In a muffled wrath "We cannot cry" ("let us try") (Vehemently treading) An urgent stalking In the teeth of a trap Not knowing why I cannot fly (Vehemently treading) Their voices mocking Useless wings can’t flap Image damaged eye about to dry (Vehemently treading) Blind but see their faces Def but they are all I hear Inside my mind they intensified Heart in distorted paces My soul ready to disappear Once far too shy now amplified Life’s torment embraces A lesson while we’re all here Denied and set aside, we decide Left without any traces My spirit completely clear I refused to die by suicide
