Trouble in the Woods

Fallen, Face first, A mushroom to catch me. Mouthful, Of pungent, And putrid spores mist me. Choking of the lungs. Reverberated coughing. The strangling of the woods, It amplifies my tragedy. Dizzy, Throat closing, What dust has chased into my lungs. My eyes, Are burning, The world looks red around me. Tortured striations, Echoing through my mind. A sinking feeling, Comes over me yet I, Keep struggling, Deep breaths, Through clouded lungs and mind. No more, Must rest, I need to rest my mind!
