Traces of Our Memories That Won’t Ever Be Lived Again

What we had was so real to me and I still look back at our days because it was once so beautiful even if now it's twisted and decayed for so long it felt so real but eventually the strain between us grew tighter until it was no longer deniable I never wanted to push you away I only hope it in time you'll understand why it had to be this way... Pictures is the only thing that remains with every memory that slowly faded is this all we were ever meant to be? you're gone now and I stand here alone in the rubble of what's left in a room, with no light reaching through you're living a better life while I'm left lying in isolation I wish I could feel love even if it's just for a moment I wish I could feel anything real the closest I've ever felt was a fabricated sense of euphoria one that felt so fake and artificial and I must ask... why can't I feel? what must I give to feel again? how much must I bleed to feel something? anything... pour salt into every wound I'll scream until there's nothing left spending my nights cutting my life away I've not felt anything since you've left I wish I could see you one last time maybe even fill this gaping void inside of me... I'm slowly giving up clawing my nails into these walls exhausted all the time, to this deafening silence I need it all to end...
