Tower of Flame

in desolation, forlorn and decayed u stands the tower of neverending flame Once it burned with beauty and grace Burning now with sorrow that time can’t erase Echoes wail across the remains Hollowed souls wander endlessly alone Death whispers in the waters that surround As spirits are heard delivering woeful moans Fleeting flames, lost in sorrow, A warrior's path now draped in shadow. Beneath the tower, souls start to entwine, Cursed to wander, cursed to forever pine. Once a beacon, now a ruin, Fates shackled where the shadows slip, Damned hearts bound to eternity’s chains As sadness grips tight with a ghostly hand.
