Through the Dark Fog

My journey through forgotten hills and valleys Black fog seeping low into the eucalypts Dry bones scattered around Ravens' feathers stuck in the ground So many times before walking, contemplating and lost Into a void, frozen paradise lost But now the hills ablaze destroying life in its path Black dust and crimson sky fill the air with its poisoned aftermath Ashened land beyond vision impaired Putrid carcasses rotting the ground Blood dripping, roots exposed the call of death Under the burning sun Pulsing doom throbs the land in terror Malicious, nefarious raping bats spreading their diseased evil Tolling death's bell during the witching ritual Arising, the reaper thus take my hand Into the hostile plane of Gehenna, black lunar clouds of hate Frozen unearthly kingdom of darkness reborn Dark master of hatred sickens my every thought Beckoning my screams throughout the night
