Through Murky and Forgotten Lands

Perhaps I may have seen it in a dream murky and forgotten lands a place where I'm to mend my ailing mind but losing everything in the process the symbol of the curse, an augur of darkness my past, future and present will forever lose its meaning I've become something other than human a hollow shell feeding on souls seeking out my prey through desolate lands drawn to souls like a moth to a flame piercing cries of the hollows are heard throughout these ruined lands though not their former selves they still want me dead by their hands defeat them in battle i may even though they truly cannot die fractured is the cycle of life and death for everyone here including I I now stand before decrepit gates to what i believe is my journey's end however, I feel in this moment that my end has yet to come so, I now must turn back and go down another road and hope that I shall soon return and end this infernal curse
