The Life of Death

Seeking out misery to confront natures harmony Lurking in the shadows under the skies A feathery body and a naked skull Death in the forest turns fire into ice A fate frowned upon with evil eyes Everything I see is better off without me Everything I touch turns to coal I suppose this is the life of death What have I done to deserve this fate I don’t know why everything I touch has to die Watching from a distance something alive A beautiful piece of nature in harmony What I see is this the love I have heard about Is this what it means to be free Why can’t it be me Everything I see is better off without me Everything I touch turns to coal I suppose this is the life of death What have I done to deserve this fate I don’t know why everything I touch has to die Have I found a purpose besides being a deadly plague Have I found my way away from misery I may be cared for but still I feel empty and cold Oh how I wish I could touch her warm skin But wait what is happening to me She is drawn to my presence does she not realize That everything I touch dies It’s over this is the end I feel my purpose I finally realize Don’t worry your suffering ends tonight my deer Everything I touch turns to coal But coal is needed to keep hearts warm I have found my purpose in life
