Tears of the Hunter

There's no count of how many years passed since that time of the great hunt but as I reflect upon my failure water rises to my eyes like an ever-flowing stream Holding back the tears whilst standing tall maintaining my pride in hopes I don't fall I continued to hunt for it was my sworn duty to appease the spirits of the winter hunt and so I waited for my prey once again to show itself once more so that I may strike Hlding back the tears whilst standing tall maintaining my pride in hopes I don't fall The time had come for me to attack with my weapon in hand i aimed for my target but tricked by the spirits they had me as a fool for my prey once again slipped away from me
