The waves rise high beneath a mournful sky The hulls creak low with a ghostly sigh Roots entwined in the timber’s breath A voyage cursed by the hands of death The sails are torn yet still they glide Through waters deep where shadows hide Voices hum from the oaken frame Calling me forth yet not in name
