Nesting within the sanctum An ancient serpent dwells Containing the blood Everlasting life The voices of priestesses Keeping it confined To an everlasting slumber In hopes it stays undisturbed the knights of the drakeblood have traveled far and wide To set siege to this sanctum To obtain the serpent’s blood A sacrosanct possession That they must obtain In order to reach their goal In ultimate transcendence The serpent’s soldiers Renouncing their flesh In hopes that no soul Reaches the inner sanctum Devoted they are But foolish they’ve become To think they can win Against my lust for dragon blood Their spears spill the beast’s blood But unleashes the poison within A miasmic cloud appears Poisoning all in the sanctum Asphyxiation, suffocation Upon all those who live below The sanctum now rains poison As the serpent reaches full power
