A long time ago, all forgotten now The age of Man just in its beginning In those golden ancient times of old The mighty Gods, they lived among us But now they lay in an eternal sleep Not dead yet and not alive as well In perpetual slumber they remain But then came the greed in Man's soul The lust for more became one and all The sacred ancient ways were cast away And nothing remained ever the same But now they lay in an eternal sleep Not dead yet and not alive as well In perpetual slumber they remain The Gods became disgusted and tired And they wept for the damnation of Man These deeds led to nothing but anguish And they wept for the damnation of Man For now we live surrounded by darkness The age of Man running its fatal course Blinded by all the miracles in their hands Mighty Gods, they no longer live among us But now they lay in an eternal sleep Not dead yet and not alive as well In perpetual slumber they remain
