And I'm still living in 2017, Yearning for times of old, That long lost era of gold, And creators are fading to time, Out with the old and in with the new, What once raised my generation, Blew over and gone with the wind, And friends are fading to time, Won't they remember, I guess I really don't either, But how I'd rather it be neither, But a new set of creators comes in, Raising the new generation, As the ones before them did, And I'm still left to ponder, Why the world has left me behind, Why the world has left us blind, But nostalgia isn't worth a dime.
