No Man's Land

In this world of no man's land, I wander aimlessly, Where we can live our own truth, unless it opposes what’s trending Fallacious ideas cloud our minds, obscuring what is true, I'm just a young soul lost in a world that's so confused. Oh, this no man's land we call our home, Where nothing's set in stone, and we're all alone. I walk these streets, filled with uncertainty and doubt, Where truth and lies entwine, and shadows linger about. The boundaries have blurred, lines erased by doubt's cruel hand, Up is down, right is left, in this world everything is so backwards, the abolition of man! We’re all cannibals devouring eachother like animals No flags to raise, no borders to defend, Yet opposition arises from all directions, like whispers in the wind. The division is tearing me apart Brothers at each other's throat over trivial matters Agree to disagree and Grow up! Ere the fires of folly awaken a second dark age for our children! In no man’s land, it’s every man for himself Where we’re so desperate for connection, we’ll kill each other to get it! Where does my help come from in this land of truths ever changing, lost in the ever shifting sands of man Lost in this no man’s land we’ve created How does one find ground to stand on in this world of sinking sand? Will I fall into nothingness as they tell me? No! I'll anchor myself in unchanging truth, For truth's not subjective, nor is it based on individual perception. Transcendental, it spans this world and beyond, While the world screams in hate, rejecting what's strong. They crave the subjective, rejecting all that's objective, Yet they drown in quicksand, missing what's corrective .But there's one solid ground they choose to ignore, A foundation to stand on, where they can be secure Where they are free to be who they truly are. Why do they resist their creator? . Call me a fool, call me close-minded, While your closed mind chases after something you refuse to receive. How long will you choose a heart of stone? Be wary for God will give it to you. Lost in the chaos of a dying world's strife, It's killing itself, consuming your life. Where will you stand when the ground starts to quake, As no man's land expands, your home is at stake? Don’t wait for the sands to shift, build your life on the rock of ages!
