Gold blood drawn from my chest A gift from my cold breast From the house of ashes I Took my leave to be here now With black wings high Ashes spread wide I fed on shadows from your Broken heart and your dry well I became a beast lost in legends of your old soul My soft white hands felt The pulse of her neck Her soul flows out like a river Ashes spread wide Her sweet music crying softly Into the night from a lonely soul How do I earn such love as hers?
