Lament of the Oppressed People

Oh my Lord with my heart I read about you What you made in ancient times, about your glory, your mercy and Love. What you made for everyone of us. I will never trust in material things, When I found difficulties in my life I join my hands to pray your name, You give me salvation from every problem. But when I sin you punish me, Inside myself I know i'm wrong, I feel my soul dirty and sad, I feel all the shame of my sin. In these hard times you make me understand, I feel oppression in my soul, A rising anguish in my heart, I'm searching a way to implore your forgiveness.. You see we're treated like dead meat, Please save us my Lord, We're nothing without you, Don't forget us in our oppression, with our faces in the dust. Rise up and run to us, With your help we'll find salvation, Rise up and give your hands, Free ourselves with your love!
