Immortal Youth

When Death calls I close my eyes To the dark side and welcome with arms open wide Watching the hourglass of my time drop another grain of sand The sands of time dote the desert of my mind and hands I look into a book and read it's magic I lust for the next page to complete my immortality Immortal youth is what I yearn To wander into the sun and only get mild burns Quintessence of the apotheosis of an olden time Where Mercury was within my naked sight Watching eyes glare unto a crystal of Quartz Wherever the future may lie I know I'll never die.
