II. My Power and Will

They built the walls, they set the lines A prison wrapped in hollow designs Their voices thunder, their rules constrain Binding the spirit with invisible chains But beneath the weight of their decree A fire grows inside of me The balls that toll, the halls that scream A life confined in someone else's dream They break the will, they crush the voice Demanding silence, leaving no choice But deep within, I feel the spark A light that burns against the dark Their eyes are cold, their words command A faceless force with a heavy hand They shape the world, they write the script But their control begins to slip For every rule, I grow more strong Their time will fade; I'll prove them wrong No chains can hold what I've become Their voices fade, their powers undone Through hollow halls, I carve my way No longer bound, I seize the day My power and will, a rising tide I'll tear down the walls where they reside
