Hope Is Lost

Walking down a dark passage A melancholic atmosphere That consumes me everyday As I run the blade Down my skin Just to feel something All efforts To leave this miserable place Has ended tragically Every time I act on my self loathing death I back out last minute Trapped with no solace Everyone moved on in life And I stayed here Dwelling on the past With Ventolin in my system To keep me from losing my last breath Every time I manage to break A shroud of darkness Corrupts the slightest glimpse of hope Malevolent apparitions Of my former self Keeps waking me With his screaming in my head Make it stop Make it stop He wont leave Make him stop Make him silenced Slit the throat Of the man that lives inside my head Or put me out of my Miserable existence
