there will be no more visions. there will be no more dreams. lamentation in israel and in rome. lamentation on the mountains and at the tombs. the earth weeps for it’s children (between their fingers they crumble the ashes and smell them. this must have been rome, they say, and this jerusalem: and they toss the ashes to the winds.)
