Exhausting Efforts to Let You Go

It's all too clear now you're just like everyone else you never even cared you got what you wanted and this is what we are now, nothing... I miss you, old friend where has our time gone? and as days passed by and life goes on I see how much you've changed and how much I've sacrificed for you and how it was all for nothing I've given and given and you've hurt me so much I look at you but you're not you anymore I no longer know who I once saw in you it's like the person I once knew never existed but there's no reason to dwell on the past because it's clear our memories are dead when you return I'll already be faded our days have died once you've shut me out finally, I am going to leave this world behind... leave you behind as you did with me our memories doesn't feel real anymore what were we to you? was it ever even special at all? the time we spent, disregarded and forgotten tossed away like used pieces of rubbish like an old, shattered glass jar and as we used to always say everything works out in the end I just never thought it'd be like this you were my best friend and now it feels like you don't even know me it's whatever... I'll be long gone by the time you return it's all over my friend everything we used to be all our memories, our dreams and hopes it's all over... it's all over for us...
