Ascending from from blackened skys That now appear before me lighted up, Brighter than ever before In such beautiful fluorescent light, Flying further away from what once was Cold and dark now warm and bright, Filled with such euphoria that overcomes me, And I could never imagine upsetting you, Not even in my dreams without breaking down in tears, Hoping for forgiveness feeling like I did long ago, Trapped in a sea of sorrows but no more, Better than ever no more going back I feel, And I can't know for sure but I feel for sure That we are the same in many ways, And we began together so carefree, No longer chained to what was Truly just a mirage of problems, Gazing upon it no more and ceaselessly Traveling wherever anything takes us, No longer confined to this life, The others drift away some forever, Never to know what was found so beautiful to some, Sitting quietly we watch, Sitting calmly we watch, Sitting quietly we stare, Sitting calmly we stare, At what it seems nobody else does...
