Enduring the Winter Madness

Howling winds blow again Freezing sensations emerge The sun remains at rest Throughout the time of day Keeping me confined Within my dungeon walls I become lost within myself As I endure the winter madness As I walk the winter nights Warmth retreats from my body The frost hits my skin With a cold burning sensation In a desperate attempt I try to seek shelter From the cold blowing wins As I endure the winter madness Finding things to pacify Becomes an everyday task Boredom starts to set in It finds its way to depression I take these bitter feelings turn them to inspiration To which turns to expression As I endure the winter madness
