Drowning in the Tides of Despair

once again, the cycle repeats itself emotions begin to drain, diluting mine affection staring at my reflection, just a stranger to myself jumping to the deep end, seeking an amend these tides i call home, chewing me to the bone i reside here alone, chasing after the unknown I am drowning, circling the drain all that remains is my disdain Nothing to gain, downpour shall reign carry me back to the wave, forever i will be a slave this i shall take to the grave, this my tombstone, will engrave i sit here counting the days everything fading to grey for i have been led astray drowning in the tides of despair lifes torment, misery, fill the air
