Tricked and convicted The crime is faith In a deceiver called Jesus The lies are eternal, forcing me in But I have a diabolical escape From the absentee Lord Who I spit on In my dreams Who I whip He let me suffer, I let him bleed Drawing blood with incantations A forked tongue is the way To his pain A quick cut when I recite Like a knife in him that twists Conjuring the spirit of truth Calling it, I can see it A rabid demon with talons They fancy his throat The one that tells lies It’s the blood I spill every night Like a mangled cage The cackle, dark prayers Freeing my mind Slaughtering his son In the darkness
