Despondant Cries

Trapped within a state of despondency The feelings hidden deep within Alone with my melancholic emotions This feeling growing stronger every day Life is a struggle a battle of mind The tears run often with no escape Yet there is no physical pain Only sickly depression poisoning my veins This journey without end For there is no end within sight No scars upon my body But scars dwell deep within my labyrinth mind It is hard to enjoy life The good things in life are so scarce I guess I'll stick it out for another day The sadness is what keeps me alive to stay With this sorrow a source of inspiration With this pain makes me stronger With these tears my personal friend Only disappointment a cynical end
