Derelict

nothing changes in this wasteland of lost souls I wake up in a derelict building alone with sorrow once again freezing under the twilight of tomorrow's despair I pick myself up from the cold concrete there's no water or food I find the nearest puddle filling my empty stomach with the polluted water which others have urinated in why must I carry on? I live in the shadows invisible to society nobody would care if I take my own life nobody would even notice if I was to leave who would visit my grave? who would bury my body? would my body even be noticed? my torn up clothes stained of mud, gravel and urine I can't live like this The city has never been the same ever since I've been left alone...
