The walls close in with whispers of lies Visions distort beneath my tired eyes Shadows twist into forms unknown My mind shatters as I walk alone Voices call from the depths of the dark Luring me deeper with every mark The truth dissolves in a sea of despair I reach for it but find nothing there I stumble through a world untold Where time stands still but the fear grows cold The air is thick with memories lost Each step I take brings me further crossed Figures stand that I cannot name Their faces twist in a dance of shame Reality slips like sand through my hand Leaving me stranded in a dreamless land
