Dark Reflections

Black storm fell down on the night I was born To seek a hope for my reign A last chance to save us, to turn dusk to dawn And put dark and light face to face A galloper cry has to greet my arrival To a world where darkness is king The shadows they dance for my death in a ring I wonder what prayers can bring Demons of fear want to feast on my soul When the time is announcing my fall A horned winged creature flew over the moon And passed out his call to the dawn The sun is unable to send down its light It's swallowed by thoughts in my mind Dark is existence reflected on earth Like so I am the last of my kind In deep time awakens a sinner Go down, go down Deep in your soul the answer you find What is lying behind the destructive force in your mind A cruel betrayal I cannot escape My fate was the rainbow and the sun Strong is its blaze but with awful disgrace All beauty and goodness is gone A short, ancient memory from times that are past A heavenly peace in paradise All my feelings have turned to a gloom I cry when I close my eyes In deep time awakens a sinner Go down, go down Deep in your soul the answer you find What is lying behind the destructive force in your mind
