All Dreams Are Nightmares

Awake, From dreams, Tortured. My flesh, It crawls With memory. The beast inside me Takes control In moonlight. What horrors have I committed. To be Where I stand now. The beast has served a purpose Though I did not ask for it. It must be kept a secret. No one should ever know. Though creature of the night I am still king as well. The sleep I get is fleeting, All dreams become nightmares. Even in my sleep I cannot escape My hell. How much more can I take, Before the mask collapses. All eye are upon me, I fear that they may know. Destroy them all! I must keep them in check. Control them all! They all must hold their breath. No one can know No one can know No one can know My secret.
