In the depths where light dares not tread An eternal silence suffocates The screams of lost souls Shadows coil like serpents Devouring fragments of time The air is heavy With the stench of despair A void that consumes all thought All hope Beyond the fractured veil of reality Lies an abyss without end Where the whispers of the forgotten echo through lifeless halls Here existence is but a cruel jest and dreams Dissolve into the black mire of eternity The blood of countless worlds flows through These veins of darkness Feeding The unholy beast that slumbers beneath It stirs now A malevolent force waking from ancient sorrow Rising to swallow the stars themselves And so the descent begins into madness Into oblivion Into the eternal night Beneath the crust of a dying world Where shadows writhe and chaos swirls A chasm yawnS Devouring light An endless fall through eternal night The air is thick with sorrow’s breath A hymn of silence A dirge of death No stars remain No heavens cry Only the void where hope must die Abyssal descent Where souls are torn A realm of ash Where life’s forlorn Through endless dark The echoes wail, A hollow scream A mournful tale.
