A Soliloquy from Judas Iscariot

Once the twelfth disciple of Christ I apostatized By a kiss of death unto him His cheek turned away Riches worth more to me Than his lies The ways of God are untruths As I begin to realize. I am the son of Simon Iscariot Blood of my covenant to Christ coagulates and rots Him, I support not I accepted lucifer into my heart And felt a power greater than any lamb Like the black goats I am one with darkness And darkness at one with me Gold Victory Power Glory All given to me Praise Pilate for the death of Jesus I led the lambs to slaughter Our bond thinner than water Aurorae, Sight Of their beautiful light I behold it in the night With the Tomb of the lamb Desecrated By the wrath Of the ram. Desert sands of the mind Entropic to ourselves, humankind But nothing ever came from following order Defiance is the true prince! The universe is wiser than all its creation Set is the desert sun Israel is gone Eden fell asleep for millennia Persecution from God Excommunication I welcomed with open arms. And Of pestilence: The locusts Devoured the flesh And words of Moses To which I saw the morning star rose. Plumbous flow Argentine waters Hiding from beyond The throne of God is gone (What joy!)
